(More customer reviews)A few years back, I got one of these modems for free as part of a deal when signing up for cable internet. It only lasted a few months before it started crapping out and losing its connection. Sometimes the connection was slower than dial-up even when the modem showed a good connection. I ended up buying a Linksys modem/router combined unit and it worked great.
