(More customer reviews)I purchised this item to hook up to an external wifi adaptor for my laptop, so that I would have more range than the antenna that came with it. Even after hooking it up outside, I got less range than the antenna that came with the adaptor. For a few extra cents, you can get an antenna that comes with a 9 dBi antenna, and is interchangeable, which this one is not!
